Prosecco Vento is located 40 miles outside of Venice, Italy. It is a lush flat land next to the PO River that supports some of Italy's most productive and fertile vineyards. The Vento region is home of the Prosecco grape and the delicious wine that bears its name. It is the third highest wine producing region in Italy due to its favourable climate. In 1847, Alessandro Martini established a small wine making operation in the Piedmont region in Italy and quickly establish a reputation for his sparkling wines. In 1879 a young entrepreneur by the name of Luigi Rossi joins forces with Alessandro Martini and they created Martini and Rossi Corporation. Today Martini and Rossi produced the number 1 Italian sparkling wine and vermouth in the world and the number 1 sparkling wine and vermouth in the United States. Martini and Prosecco has 140 years of experience in making sparkling Italian wine.
